How does it work?
The ultra-short pulse duration of the laser can deliver energy in such a short amount of time that it causes the ink particles to fracture into tiny fragments without heating the surrounding tissue. The body’s immune system eliminates the fragmented ink particles, gradually breaking off and fading the ink.
Does it hurt?
Although individual pain perception can differ, most clients find the procedure tolerable. We do our very best to make our clients most comfortable.
How many sessions do I need to remove an old procedure?
It can variate from 2-5 for Pmu removal and 8-12 for tattoo body removal. After your first treatment we can give a better indication how many treatments you will be needing.
How much time do I need to leave in before I can place a new pmu procedure?
We advise leaving 4 weeks in between your laser treatments. As most treatments advise, leaving 6-8 weeks you can achieve quicker and safer results with our laser. For a new PMU procedure we advise to wait at least 8 weeks.
Pre care
Come in with clean skin, wearing no make up. We can’t proceed treatments on pregnant clients. Clients can’t be treated when using roaccutane medication, recently been under sun beds, or recently been waxed in the area.
After care
Avoid makeup for 48 hours. Refrain from using hot water on your face, and avoid activities that cause excessive sweating or heat, such as vigorous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms, for about 48 hours post-treatment.
Is there Any down time?
With pico second laser there is minimal to no down time. Just avoid make up and hot water steam rooms for 2 days. Warmth and light swelling can be experienced for max of 1-3 hours.
